Even though this is my blog, I do not want to limit the review to solely my opinions about great foods. This week I asked classmate, Jeff Schimmel, for his favorite restaurant and favorite dish at that restaurant. His answer, Morton's Steakhouse in downtown Boston. This top quality place is reserved for only the most important occasions, states Jeff. Morton's is known for their fresh selections of steak. Of course since Jeff is such a large human being, his dish is the Porterhouse Steak with garlic mashed potatoes and a side salad. Even though this dish may take a chunk out of the wallet, Jeff thinks it is completely worth it. The rare cut of cow that consistes of both New York Strip Steak and tenderloin is the heavy hitter in any steak house. However, Jeff thinks Mortons takes home the prize for #1.
